Operations Experience Meets Modern Problem Solving

Karen Gilman has spent more than two decades working in operations and leadership, much of it inside complex healthcare environments where scheduling, access, documentation, and handoffs all have to work together.

That experience taught her something most organizations discover the hard way: many problems blamed on people or technology are actually process problems.

SynaRoot Consulting was created to help organizations understand those problems clearly, simplify how work gets done, and implement practical solutions — process improvement, workflow redesign, dashboards and reporting, SOPs, and automation or AI when the process calls for it.

Her background spans operations leadership, healthcare operations and patient access, process improvement, organizational development, customer and employee experience, KPI development and performance reporting, and AI and automation strategy.
